Open Evening

We are delighted that you are considering Cowbridge School Sixth Form for the next stage of your education and we hope that you will find the information located here useful.

The best way to find out about Sixth Form life at Cowbridge School is to come along to the annual Open Evening in November. On the evening, you can expect the following: 

• a carousel of presentations offering key information about the subjects on offer. The presentations will start at 4pm and will repeat every 20 minutes until 6pm. Presentations will last 10 minutes, allowing 5 minutes for questions and time to move between rooms; 
• a presentation at 5pm in the LRC for prospective students and parents / carers who would be new to the school;
• the opportunity to speak to senior staff linked to the Sixth Form; 
• the opportunity to speak informally to current Sixth Form students about life as a Cowbridge Sixth Former.

Information on the courses available to study at Cowbridge School Sixth Form, as well as entry criteria, can be found in the online prospectus which can be found here. The courses listed represent our final subject options and no additional courses can be added.This allows us to fulfil our commitment to providing the highest quality education, as each listed course can be taught by specialist staff who have the knowledge, experience and expertise needed to support students in achieving success at this advanced level.

Applying

Current Cowbridge School students who wish to apply to attend Cowbridge Sixth Form will be sent an application link to their school email address in early November of their Year 11 year.
