We are delighted to introduce this year’s Criw Cymraeg at Ysgol y Bontfaen! Our enthusiastic team of pupils will play an important role in promoting the Welsh language and celebrating Welsh culture across the school as we work towards achieving the Siarter Iaith Bronze Award.
Throughout the year, the Criw Cymraeg will help organise Welsh-themed events, lead exciting activities, encourage the use of everyday Welsh and inspire pupils and staff to use more ‘Cymraeg’ both inside and outside the classroom. Their enthusiasm and ideas will be key to creating a school community where the Welsh language can thrive!
A huge ‘DIOLCH’ to everyone who applied to join the Criw Cymraeg this year. We were delighted to see so many pupils showing an interest in the Welsh language and culture.
Pob lwc i’r Criw Cymraeg – edrychwn ymlaen at flwyddyn wych o hyrwyddo’r iaith Gymraeg!
Good luck to the Criw Cymraeg – we look forward to another great year of promoting the Welsh language!
