We’re pleased to share our latest British Airways Emerging Talent newsletter, which includes some important updates and opportunities for your students.

Upcoming events and opportunities for students to get involved with

British Airways Work Experience 2027, with applications opening on Tuesday 15 September
Upcoming apprenticeship opportunities and important application dates

We’d really appreciate your support in sharing the newsletter and these opportunities with your students, particularly those who are interested in exploring careers in aviation and finding out more about the wide range of opportunities available at British Airways.

For Work Experience 2027, we have opportunities for students in Years 9–13, including Insight Days and work experience placements across Heathrow, Cardiff, Glasgow and Edinburgh, taking place between January and March 2027.

A few important things to note:

Students must join Speedbird Z before applying
Applications are open from 15–29 September
Students will complete a short project as part of their application
We’ll be looking at students’ motivation, passion and what they want to learn from the experience
Successful students will need consent from their school or college to attend
Students will receive a digital Globalbridge badge following their experience
