Last week, a group of Year 10 pupils had the exciting opportunity to take part in a community project which involved designing a series of decorative railings for the front of a new housing development, commemorating the former Cowbridge Girls’ School.
Working alongside an experienced blacksmith, pupils developed their metalwork skills while gaining valuable insight into traditional craftsmanship and the design process.
We look forward to following the project’s progress and to celebrating the unveiling of the finished railings in the near future.
