What is the Musical About?

Loosely based on Shakespeare's masterpiece The Tempest and the 1950s sci-fi film Forbidden Planet, this high-energy jukebox musical blends classic drama with 50s and 60s rock 'n' roll hits!

Join Captain Tempest and the fearless crew of the starship Albatross as they are drawn to the mysterious planet D'Illyria. There, they encounter the mad scientist Doctor Prospero, his delightful daughter Miranda, a roller-skating robot named Ariel, and a monstrous creature. Prepare for unexpected love, sci-fi suspense, laugh-out-loud comedy, and a soundtrack packed with golden oldies like "Great Balls of Fire," "Good Vibrations," and "The Monster Mash"!
