Year 9 Careers Workshops - Royal Navy

The week beginning 3rd November, all Year 9 pupils took part in a Careers Workshop with the Royal Navy. The officers  (Royal Marines Commandos and Warfare group) who form the Youth Engagement Team, gave information about the different jobs available in the Royal Navy and what day to day life is like when serving around the world at sea, on land and in the air. Pupils then took part in an activity in which they had to design and make a rocket that they launched from a compressed air launcher onto the school fields. A fun and very informative workshop.
