Futures in Focus: A Busy Two Weeks for Our Sixth Form
Over the past two weeks, our Sixth Form students have officially begun their journey towards university and the world of work. Following an Introduction to UCAS in our first assembly, students have been using Form Time to complete their UCAS applications and research universities, courses and apprenticeships. This week's assembly focused on choosing the right university and the right course — an important next step as students begin to narrow down their options.
Please note that our school deadline for completed UCAS applications is Friday 13th November for most students, allowing staff time to write references and check applications before submission. Conservatoire, Oxbridge, Medicine, Dentistry and Veterinary applicants have an earlier deadline and have been advised accordingly.
Whether chatting about course options or helping with open day visits, your support at home makes a real difference at this important time. The official UCAS Parents' Guide explains the application process and how you can help along the way.
