As a result of the promotion of the current post-holder, we are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, self-motivated and forward-thinking teacher who is passionate about providing students with 'Education, Inspiration and Opportunities for Life'. The successful candidate will assist with the leadership of the department within an excellent, established, large team of dedicated and diligent colleagues.  The department structure consists of a Leader of English and 2 Assistant Leaders. Together they are responsible for leading teaching and learning across all 3 key stages at secondary and for liaising across the 3-11 phase, as we evolve into an all-age school. This presents an exciting opportunity to be involved in cross-phase literacy work with our Lower School children, currently Nursery to Year 3, phasing to Y6 within the next 3 years. We have highly supportive, ambitious professional learning programmes and wider wellbeing support to ensure that you flourish in your role.
