On Tuesday afternoon, Year 11 came together for their End of Year Reflection Assembly. Mr Burgum and Miss Kenworthy-Neale spent time with the year group and their teachers looking back on their journey through school. It was a lovely occasion filled with memories, laughter and reflection as students watched a video of photographs from their years with us, before coming together for a final year group photograph.
A special surprise in the video was a guest appearance from Fatboy Slim, who inspired some of the work the year group undertook in registration this year. He shared a message of good luck with Year 11, and his contribution even inspired many of the sentiments their teachers also wanted to express (Mr Williams, teachers in the History Department - we mean you!).
Throughout her assemblies over the years, Miss Kenworthy-Neale has often spoken about what a wonderful cohort this has been. They have worked hard, shown respect and kindness to others, and consistently demonstrated excellent manners and behaviour. They are a real asset to the Cowbridge School community, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have achieved. We wish them every success for the future.
